If you consider yourself a data detective, this job is for you! The Data Forensics Analyst is responsible for researching and reporting on issues with any data involved in ViewDox operations. This would include but not be limited to: • Performing root cause analysis to identify and troubleshoot system and data errors. • Demonstrated ability to quantify impact analysis across business and technology ecosystems. • Researching and documenting data discovery and investigative processes to improve overall data integrity and quality across disparate sources. • Researching and documenting the integrity and quality issues for externally received data researching and documenting data inconsistencies across the ViewDox technical ecosystem including data ingestion, transformation, storage and reporting functions. Working with cross-functional stakeholders and technology teams to design appropriate data quality assurance processes that can be run on inbound data • Defining data requirements and developing reports to support core business operations for customer acquisition and retention that are extensible and sustainable. Working with the data ingestion, architecture, and quality assurance teams to confirm that solutions that address data issues have been correctly applied and mitigate risk.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Experience:
• Healthcare data experience working with claims, medical records, or HIE systems. • Ability to work cross-functionally and gain alignment • Ability to identify and define project data dependencies as needed • Strong consultative, listening and analytical skills; able to be forward-thinking and engage in innovative problem solving and solutions development. • 2+ years of business analysis experience, preferably in a large data- oriented company or clinical research function. • Proven experience with Relativity, Relativity One, Nuix, VenioSystems, IPRO, SQL and NOSQL data. • Experience in a systems operation support function and familiarity with issue management methodologies and solutions. Skills: • Proven experience writing both SQL/NOSQL queries • Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations. • Demonstrated experience in a lean/ agile development environment. • Great communication skills, both verbal and written • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Attention to detail. • Inquisitive; able to exhaust every avenue of investigation as necessary • Command line is a plus • Excel experience (basic formulas, pivot tables, vlookup, etc) • Able to learn new tools and understand various data flows quickly Education: • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered Our remote opportunities require: • A quiet, private, distraction-free home office work environment • A reliable high-speed internet connection (cable, DSL, or fiber) with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
